I'm passionate about understanding human nature and crafting services that bring value to the world

Andreia Querido

Service Designer | UX Researcher

Hi, I'm Andreia
A Service Designer in the making with a researcher's soul.

I have always wanted to remain curious. So, I decided that I will never stop learning, growing and adapting. This is how I landed in Service Design, and what helps me become a better designer every day.

After studying linguistics and working for years as a language researcher, I realized that I wanted to dig deeper into understanding the complexity of human nature and contribute to making the world a better place through my work. Service design and research help me to keep my mind wide open and pursue that ambition.

I want to design for the future, for the unpredictable and the still unknown and unseen. I love to navigate deep in a topic and wrapping my head around its complexities. I wish to evoke positive changes in the world, by crafting meaningful, mindful and impactful experiences and services for both people and the Earth.

My eyes are on the Future... Always

Here's what I love doing...

I’m a fan of leveraging a variety of service design tools (such as affinity diagram, user journey, blueprint, stakeholders’ map) to understand people and organizations. With them, I can apply my analytical thinking when navigating in complex service ecosystems. This enables me to understand a given context and drive positive change that delivers value to either individuals or companies

What can I say? I’m absolutely fascinated about research. It’s my favorite part of the process! I enjoy diving deep into a subject or a complex topic. With meticulous attention to detail, I enjoy to gather and analyze data from various sources, to learn about the trends, to be in contact with people and to understand their needs. It challenges me to uncover valuable information that drive strategic decisions to effective problem-solving.

I keep the focus on having a holistic perspective, considering the broader context and long-term implications of a service. I like to identify the value of the service and the opportunities and the impacts that it brings. Keep focused on the overview and the red thread of a project is something that I enjoy.
